Ansar qualified from the University of Leeds in 2012 and has now been perfecting smiles for the last 7 years. He has a strong passion for minimally invasive dentistry. Since qualifying he has strategically developed his postgraduate portfolio by attending numerous courses after completing his vocational training in both general dental practice as well as a year in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in a hospital environment.
Ansar is a strong believer in ‘patient-centred’ dentistry. He is very keen to ensure the patient has a smooth and pleasant journey with us from initial contact all the way through to the end of treatment and beyond. These principles and overall ethos are mutually shared and valued by Dental Excellence too.
Alongside gaining qualifications in Facial Aesthetics (Botox and Fillers) and mastering multiple new skills in Oral Surgery in a hospital setting, Ansar primarily spends his clinical time within the remit of Restorative Dentistry. This usually involves Orthodontic treatment to straighten teeth, followed by teeth whitening and then more often than not the ever increasingly popular cosmetic composite bonding to finish off smile makeovers in a minimally invasive and ethical manner, often requiring no drilling of tooth structure at all.
Ansar also heads our Saturday clinic which has become extremely popular for anyone who can’t attend during the week. In the limited time he gets away from clinical dentistry Ansar enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, and on a Sunday he even does a dental themed radio show over in Yorkshire!
