Veneers are a popular dental treatment that can be made from composite, porcelain, or hybrid materials and are applied to your teeth to hide imperfections and improve overall shape. There are multiple benefits to choosing veneers and in some cases can offer results that other treatments wouldn't be able to provide. The procedure will vary depending on which type of veneer you will choose, so it's important to know the difference.
Composite veneers are a popular choice for patients who want fast results. They involve applying a thin layer of tooth-coloured composite material over the entire tooth surface, effectively covering discolouration and enhancing whiteness.
Composite bonding works in a similar way but is usually applied to a smaller area of the tooth. It can improve the shape of teeth, repair chips, and correct minor crookedness or irregularities - helping to create a more balanced smile.
Composite veneers can also be completed in just one visit as part of our Same Day Smile treatment. Beforehand, we’ll schedule a consultation to explain the procedure, discuss your goals, and decide which teeth to treat. On the day of your appointment, the veneers will be applied in our state-of-the-art clinic, and you’ll leave the very same day with your new smile. The procedure is comfortable throughout, and you’re welcome to watch a film or listen to music during treatment.
Composite veneers typically last up to 3 to 5 years, after which they can be reapplied to maintain your results.
As with all dental treatments, aftercare is essential. Composite veneers are more prone to chips and staining than other materials, so it’s important to be mindful of certain foods and drinks and to maintain excellent oral hygiene to keep your smile looking its best.
Hybrid veneers, also known as 3D veneers, combine the strengths of both composite and porcelain materials - offering a smart, flexible solution for patients who want a natural-looking, long-lasting result without the full porcelain procedure.
Made from 60% porcelain and 40% composite, these veneers are produced using cutting-edge 3D printing technology, delivering precision, strength, and beauty in one. Thanks to their high porcelain content, they offer a glossy, lifelike finish that’s more durable and stain-resistant than traditional composite veneers - while still being less invasive and more cost-effective than porcelain.
A key benefit of hybrid veneers is that they require little to no drilling, making them a more conservative treatment that preserves more of your natural tooth structure. They can often be applied as part of an express, Same Day Smile transformation.
With good maintenance, 3D veneers can last 5 - 7 years, and are a great choice for subtle reshaping, improving symmetry, or giving your smile a natural boost.

Porcelain veneers are particularly effective for transforming uneven, worn, or heavily discoloured teeth, providing a true smile makeover that looks natural and feels completely confident.
Each veneer is custom-crafted in our specialist on-site dental laboratory, designed to the exact shape, size, and shade that best complements your features. This ensures results that not only look beautifully natural but also remain durable and reliable over time. With proper care, porcelain veneers can last 10 to 15 years, making them a long-term investment in both your smile and confidence.
The procedure does require a very thin layer of enamel to be removed from the tooth surface, which makes porcelain veneers a permanent treatment option.
